Coming from an engineering/electronics
background, my attitude to Alternative or Complementary Medicine was originally
that of "healthy scepticism." I recall a friend "waxing
lyrical" about Aloe Vera in the early 80s. At the time, I wasn't
too impressed. Take a look at Aloe Vera today! - It's a big selling-feature
of many products. They even impregnate toilet tissue with it!!!

To cut a long story short, I came across Colloidal Silver a couple of
years ago, tried it and it worked for me.
During the last 2 years I have only had one minor cold (at the first signs
of cold or flu symptoms, I gargle with Colloidal Silver several times
a day, taking about 5x the maintenance dose, drink lots of filtered water
and also take 4 grams of vitamin C a day for 3-4 days).
Many of my friends
now take an active interest in complementary therapies and medicine -
Several of them use Colloidal Silver.
Favourite supplements? - There are are so many,,, Other than Colloidal Silver, I have found Noni juice extremely potent, Aloe Vera (the good quality, more expensive type) and Vitamin C (an important and powerful antioxidant). Friends taking Glucosamine Sulphate (taken for painful joints) report good results, especially in liquid form with MSM.
Of course there are no substitutes for 'healthy' eating, especially organically grown or raised produce. It is, however, widely acknowledged that the nutritional value of modern food has greatly reduced over the last 100 years, sometimes only a tenth (0.1) of certain important minerals remain because of over farming and the use of pesticides and fungicides!

"Use of Colloids in Health and Disease." Dr. Henry Crooks found that "silver
in the colloidal state is highly germicidal, quite harmless to humans
and absolutely non-toxic. Rather than in a chemical compound, the silver
in the colloidal state may be applied in a much more concentrated form,
with correspondingly better results. All virus, fungus, bacterium, streptococcus,
staphylococcus, and other pathogenic organisms are killed in three or
four minutes upon contact. There are no side effects whatsoever from the
highest concentrations."
Dr. Robert Becker, "The Body Electric," recognized a correlation between
low silver levels and sickness. He said the silver deficiency was responsible
for the improper functioning of the immune system. Dr. Becker's experiments
conclude that silver works on the full spectrum of pathogens without any
side effects or damage to any part of the body. He also states that the
silver was doing something more than killing disease organisms. It was
also causing major growth stimulation of injured tissues. Burn patients
and elderly patients noticed more rapid healing. He discovered that cancer
cells change back to normal cells. All strains of pathogens resistant
to other antibiotics are killed by colloidal silver. Yet at that time
he couldn't find a silver supplement on the market.
Dr. Bjorn Nordstrom, of the Karolinska Institute, Sweden, has used silver
in his cancer treatment method. This brought rapid remission in patients
given up on by other doctors.
